These umbrellas feature easy open and close ability where you simply pull up on one of the ribs to open, and push down on a fabric panel to close, and the tension umbrellas utilize brass snaps for easy canvas top removal while the commercial umbrellas use pockets so fabric top easily slides off and onto the ribs. Most of the umbrellas available are standard/stationary though Telescope has developed two (8ft and 9ft) umbrellas with a unique tilt function that lets you maneuver your umbrella to your liking. All Telescope Casual umbrellas can be custom ordered in choice of pole/rib finish (poles and ribs are made from high quality aluminum) as well as fabric color for the umbrella canvas top.
